Jimbo Fisher met with media following Texas A&M’s 27-10 win over Auburn to, among other items, discuss the status of starting QB Conner Weigman.

Weigman exited the Aggies’ win over the Tigers with what appeared to be a lower leg injury. Fisher told reporters that he is not sure the severity of the injury, but that his x-rays came back negative.

This seems to signify a sprain in this situation, but nothing is confirmed as of 4:45 p.m. ET on Saturday. More information will come from Texas A&M in the coming days.

Thankfully for Texas A&M, Max Johnson came off the bench and played a strong game against a Tigers defense that has looked mostly good to start the season. Johnson threw a pair of touchdowns and completed 7 of his 11 passes on the day after entering in the 3rd quarter.

Texas A&M is now 3-1 on the season with a Week 5 matchup against Arkansas on the docket.
