The bottom of a pileup in a football game can be an ugly, scary, dangerous place.

If you feel so inclined, you can find the details of it with a couple of keystrokes; be warned though, what you’ll find isn’t pretty.

On Saturday, Texas A&M came out of one of those pileups with the ball after Auburn put it on the ground by the goal line late in the fourth quarter. After the game, the player that emerged with the ball didn’t want to share too many details.

“A lot of stuff happens at the bottom of a pile. I’m not going to say exactly who had possession of it. But when it is all said and done I ended up with the ball and we had possession, so yes, I did get the fumble,” defensive lineman Julien Obioha told reporters after the game.

In the clip above, you can see Auburn running back Cameron Artis-Payne fall on the ball after a botched exchange with Nick Marshall almost as soon as it hits the ground. After the pile forms on top of him, the camera loses sight of the ball. A few moments later, Obioha came streaking out of the pile, ball in hand.

Your guess is as good as ours as to how Obioha ended up with the game-changing turnover. Chances are, you probably don’t want to know.
