Kellen Mond is having a great game early against Florida as the Aggie quarterback has started the contest completing 11 of 13 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns early against the Gators.
Following his fast start, Mond has passed Jerrod Johnson in the Texas A&M record book and become the program’s all-time leader in passing yards with 8,035 yards during his Aggie career.
Johnson finished his college career with 8,011 passing yards.
Mond already owned the Texas A&M program record career completions (655) and attempts (1,153), while also ranking in the top five all-time at A&M in total offense, passing touchdowns and QB wins.
Mond is going to need to add to his total if the Aggies are going to knock off the Gators, as Florida is tearing through the A&M defense and has already scored 21 points in the half of Saturday’s matchup in College Station.
