Kellen Mond explains why outcome would be different if Texas A&M faced Alabama again
The Texas A&M Aggies are the No. 5 team in the College Football Playoff rankings, but that could change on Sunday after A&M beat Tennessee 34-13 on Saturday.
Could the Aggies sneak into the Playoff as the No. 4 seed? If they do, they’ll likely have the chance to avenge their only loss of the year against Alabama.
The Aggies lost that game by 28 points, but QB Kellen Mond is confident A&M would fare better with another shot at the Crimson Tide:
Kellen Mond on if the game would be different if they were to face Alabama again: “We were able to move the ball really well at Alabama, we just weren’t able to finish in the red zone. I do think it would be a different outcome."

First, though, the Aggies might need some help. At 8-1, the Aggies are still on the outside looking in at the Playoff picture.
If Notre Dame beats Clemson again on Saturday afternoon, though, things get interesting. Also, with Ohio State not looking great in the B1G title game against Northwestern, A&M’s case is even stronger.
