New Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher won’t coach the Aggies during their Belk Bowl game against Wake Forest. However, that doesn’t mean he’s taking it easy in his first month on the job.

Fisher has been busy since being named the Aggies’ head coach on Sunday, hitting the road to visit a few of Texas A&M’s top commits.

As you can see below, he stopped by to see 4-star DE Max Wright in Katy, Texas, but that wasn’t his only stop:

He also visited K Seth Small, the No. 1 kicker in the 2018 class, while he was in Katy:

Currently, the Aggies have the No. 6 recruiting class in the SEC and the No. 15 class in the nation. With Fisher on board, it’ll be interesting to see if the Aggies can climb into the top five in the conference when all is said and done.

Fisher will need to recruit at an elite level to compete with teams like Alabama, Auburn and LSU in the SEC West. However, it seems as if he’s willing to put in the hours, based on these pictures above.
