Koda Martin, offensive lineman for the Aggies, was married recently to Jazzmin “Jazz” Babers. Martin, a junior, will likely be an anchor for an A&M offense that averaged 467 yards a game in 2016. Babers is the daughter of Syracuse football’s head coach Dino Babers.

Colton Prater, fellow A&M OL, shared a photo of the event with the entire A&M OL present.

Welcome to our family, Jazz. You're now a MG4L. #meetthemassivemartins

Martin played in all 13 games for A&M last season including four starts as a sophomore. He was a solid contributor along the line last season and should be used heavily this season.

Martin is not the only athletic person in this couple. Babers was a four-year member of the Aggies volleyball team as a middle blocker. She made the All-SEC team three consecutive seasons and was named a semifinalist for the Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar and Award.

“Jazzmin is 6-foot-3 and has got about a 38-inch vertical. Koda is about 6-foot-6, 310,” Sumlin said earlier this month. “I’ve got dibs on the first kid.”
