Ft. Worth police release official statement on Johnny Manziel altercation

It was reported on Saturday that Johnny Manziel was involved in an altercation with his girlfriend.
The Ft. Worth Police Department has confirmed that officers were dispatched around 2 a.m. local time to follow up on a report of a possible assault.

The potential of assault is obviously bad news and something that could land Manziel both in trouble with the law and the NFL.
Manziel is at a crossroads in his NFL career, and incidents like this are not exactly what the former Heisman Trophy winner needs to right the ship.
