After back-to-back losses, Texas A&M’s season seems over.

On Sunday, Matt Barrie and Paul Finebaum reflected on the Aggies’ loss to Tennessee and made their case for where Texas A&M stands now.

“Their season again, on Oct. 15, is done,” Barrie said on his show.

Finebaum gave Texas A&M some credit for playing a good game against Alabama last week, but ultimately he agrees that the Aggies season is over after the loss to Tennessee.

“You can’t blame Texas A&M for that loss, that was Alabama stepping up,” Finebaum said. “A&M played really well. And then we saw yesterday in Knoxville. Again a team that is not elite Matt. Give Josh Heupel credit, he’s a high-flying, hot team coach, and defense won that game.”

With 3 losses already on their record, the Aggies chances of taking home an SEC West title are just about shot. With teams like Ole Miss and LSU still on the schedule, the Aggies could face a handful of losses before the season comes to an end.
