Mike Elko hiring former Texas A&M staffer for Duke position, per report
Former Texas A&M analyst Ishmael Aristide will reunite with Mike Elko after a season at Miami.
Elko, the former Texas A&M defensive coordinator now head coach at Duke, is reportedly hiring Aristide as the Blue Devils’ cornerbacks coach. Aristide coached outside linebackers at Miami this season.

Aristide joined the Texas A&M staff in March 2019 as a senior defensive analyst working with defensive backs, the position he held the previous two years at Ole Miss. Elko was part of Jimbo Fisher’s initial Aggie coaching staff assembled ahead of the 2018 season.
Aristide got into coaching as a grad assistant at Auburn. He was on the Tigers’ staff from February 2016 to February 2017. Aristide played defensive back at Purdue from 2009-13.
