Mike Evans hauled in his first touchdown reception of the 2023 season Sunday afternoon.

It was a beauty, too. Baker Mayfield, who came to Tampa Bay this past offseason, hit Evans in stride for a 28-yard connection.

Evans is entering Year 10 in the NFL and is looking to keep his streak of 1,000 yard receiving seasons alive with Tampa this year. Last year was one of his weaker seasons in the NFL he still totaled 1,124 yards and 6 touchdowns.

The Bucs and Vikings are in a close one to start out the 2023 season. Minnesota threw the first punch with a Kirk Cousins touchdown pass to Jordan Addison. It feels like the Vikings should be up more than they are, but a few turnovers have kept Tampa Bay in the game.
