Texas A&M freshman defensive end Myles Garrett will not play against Missouri due to a concussion, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Garrett entered the week with 11 sacks, one behind SEC leader Shane Ray.
Tennessee freshman defensive end Derek Barnett, with two sacks against Kentucky today, has 9 sacks. Both Barnett and Garrett broke Jadeveon Clowney’s SEC freshman record of 8.5 in 2011.
Garrett is by far the team’s best pass rusher, and Missouri QB Maty Mauk has been susceptible to pressure, easily spooked in the pocket.
Unofficial word I got on Myles Garrett's injury was concussion suffered against Auburn. A&M declined to specify injury.

DE Ivan Robinson also is out due to injury.
