Nation’s 7th-ranked defensive tackle DeMarvin Leal commits to Texas A&M

Jimbo Fisher took a big step closer to bringing the Wrecking Crew namesake back to College Station on Wednesday.

Thanks to the commitment of DeMarvin Leal, Texas A&M now is up to 10 pledges for the 2019 recruiting class. Leal, ranked as a four-star prospect and the nation’s No. 7 defensive tackle prospect by 247Sports Composite Rankings, becomes the second-highest rated recruit to commit to the Aggies’ current recruiting class.

The Converse, Texas native racked up 112 tackles, 27 tackles-for-loss and seven sacks over his previous two high school campaigns. Texas A&M currently has a top 5 recruiting class in the nation following the commitment of Leal.
