Paul Finebaum spotlighted a Week 13 SEC matchup during “The Matt Barrie Show” that could see a favored team suffer a massive late-season loss.

Texas A&M visits Auburn in the second-to-last week of the regular season. The Aggies are No. 15 in the College Football Playoff rankings and 5-1 in the SEC as they look to clinch a conference championship game berth, but were blown out 44-20 at South Carolina in Week 11 before an overwhelming win over New Mexico State in Week 12.

Against a desperate Tigers team looking to keep their slim bowl hopes alive, things could point toward an upset, Finebaum noted.

“I’ll tell you the game that I’m really interested in: A&M at Auburn,” he said. “A&M is a terrible road team. They have really just struggled on the road and Auburn is just that team that’s been hanging around all year, doing nothing by the way, but capable of maybe scratching out an ugly win.”

At 4-6, the Tigers certainly won’t be the betting favorite in this one. While the Aggies took the previous year’s contest at Kyle Field, fans will remember 2022 at Jordan-Hare Stadium where the Tigers eked out a 13-10 win — although the Aggies were far from the team they are today.

Auburn fans will certainly be hoping that their team can capture a little of that magic on Saturday while putting an end to Texas A&M’s Playoff hopes.
