The Texas A&M Aggies have been called the most disappointing team in college football by some and that’s not necessarily a bold statement, given the fact the team currently holds an overall record of 3-7 with just 1 win in conference play after the Aggies were projected to be among the nation’s best teams at the beginning of the season.

College football analyst Paul Finebaum recently weighed in on the state of the program and what types of changes could be made.

“I think it’s one of the most critical moments that I’ve seen in a football program in a long time. I think the smartest thing,” Finebaum said in his most recent appearance on McElroy and Cubelic in the Morning.“A&M administrators are not oblivious to what is being said about this program.”

Finebaum also said that he doesn’t see money as the object in this situation anymore in terms of paying coach Jimbo Fisher off and that he has failed as Texas A&M’s head coach, a sentiment shared by many at this point in the midst of a lost season no one saw playing out quite like this.

It will be interesting to watch how the remainder of the season plays out for the Aggies and what types of moves they will make as change is clearly needed on multiple levels in College Station.
