In late December 2019, it was reported that Texas A&M wide receiver and punt returner Roshauud Paul had entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal. Players can withdraw from the portal before transferring but it now appears Paul will indeed leave the Aggies and has selected his new school. 247Sports AState Nation reports that Paul has committed to Arkansas State.

During his three seasons in College Station, Paul recorded 23 catches for 268 yards. His primary contribution to the Aggies program came in the return game. Paul logged 34 punt returns for 353 yards during his three seasons in College Station. In 2018, as a sophomore, he finished with the most punt returns and fifth-most punt return yards in the SEC.

Paul saw his playing time decrease as a junior, appeared in only four games for the Aggies in 2019 after appearing in 13 the previous season. By appearing in only four games, Paul is able to redshirt for the 2019 season, giving him two remaining seasons on his play-four-in-five-years eligibility clock.

The former 3-star recruit was named 2016 Mr. Texas Football after leading Bremond High School to a 15-0 state championship his senior season.
