Report: Texas A&M OC Noel Mazzone not leaving the Aggies for Auburn
By Adam Spencer
Published:
Early Thursday afternoon, rumors surfaced that Auburn was pursuing Texas A&M OC Noel Mazzone to fill the same role for the Tigers.
However, according to a source close to the situation, Mazzone won’t be replacing Rhett Lashlee in 2017:
Noel Mazzone isn't leaving his job as Texas A&M offensive coordinator for same job at Auburn, insider tells @HoustonChron.

Working with Baylor transfer QB Jarrett Stidham may have been an enticing prospect, but the Aggies have plenty of offensive firepower as well, including star WR Christian Kirk and RB Trayveon Williams.
Mazzone was Auburn’s offensive coordinator from 1999 to 2001 and has made stops at several other schools before landing at Texas A&M in 2016. He’ll be around College Station for at least another year, it seems.
