The Boston Celtics dropped game one against the Brooklyn Nets Saturday night 104-93; however, Robert Williams was a bright spot.

The former Texas A&M standout was the star defender on the floor for the Celtics, as he broke a franchise record with 8 blocks in a single game. Robert Parish and Kendrick Perkins were previously tied with 7.

Williams also added 11 points on the night, along with 9 rebounds. It’ll be a night that he won’t ever forget.

Williams and the Celtics take on the Nets in game two Tuesday night.
