One of the games to circle on the SEC composite schedule is Alabama at Texas A&M on Oct. 9 at Kyle Field.

It is believed to be a make-or-break game in the SEC West, especially for Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies to get over the hump in their quest to get some championship hardware.

SEC Network analyst Roman Harper made a bold statement about the game during a segment about the Aggies from SEC Media Days.

“They’re going to be favored in every game,” Harper said. “Up until Game 6 against Alabama, and I think they’ll still be favored then because it’s at home. I think Jimbo does a great job of understanding what wins in the SEC, and that’s great defense, a strong offensive line and running game, and a balanced attack offensively.”

Later in the segment, Harper doubled down on the Aggies being favored in every game, and added, “Alabama is going to be interesting. And if you don’t win that game versus Alabama, I’m not saying you are or you’re not, I’m not really here to do all that, but you cannot let that Alabama game get you for two. You go to Missouri right after that, and that can be a much improved team.”
