Kenyon Green has been a stalwart for the Maroon Goons in recent years, but his time at Texas A&M is coming to an end, he announced on Tuesday.
Green said the 3 years with the Aggies have been possibly the happiest of his life as he shared feelings of appreciation and gratitude.
“However, after careful consideration, prayer and discussions with my family, I have decided that it is time to pursue my dream and enter the NFL Draft. This has been one of the toughest decisions of my life, but I feel the time is right.”
Green may be most remembered for his versatility, as he started in all 12 games this season at 4 different positions along the offensive line. He also earned the Offensive MVP Award and Leadership Award at the annual team banquet.
He was also named to the Associated Press All-America First Team, and the All-SEC First Team.
