Texas A&M announces capacity plans, mask requirement for Kyle Field this fall

The SEC announced it would be up to individual schools to decide what they wanted to do with stadium capacities in 2020.
Many schools have already gone ahead with that, announcing their plans on Tuesday afternoon.
At Kyle Field in College Station, the stadium will operate at around 30% capacity, according to a release from Texas A&M:
While the situation remains fluid and continues to evolve, Texas A&M’s plan ensures that attendance at Kyle Field during the 2020 season will comply with Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s Executive Order GA-28 limiting the normal operating capacity for outdoor sporting venues. The exact capacity percentage will be determined based on the number of season ticket holders and student sport pass holders who choose to attend. While the football season is scheduled to begin Sept. 26, a number of factors may impact the anticipated attendance at later home games. As of today, the initial anticipated attendance to begin the season is approximately 30 percent of normal stadium operating capacity. This is subject to change based on emerging information as well as local and state health developments.
Masks will also be required while in attendance, according to the release.
Things can change between now and Sept. 26, of course, but for now, this is what the Aggies plan to do for 2020.
