One Texas A&M assistant and a former player for the Aggies has reportedly passed away with KBTX3 in Texas reporting Terry Price’s death on Friday. Price was 55 years old.
No cause was initially given for Price’s death. He played for Texas A&M during the 1980s and had spent over a decade as an assistant with the program. Texas A&M did not immediately confirm the reports on Price.
At the time of Price’s passing, he was the defensive ends coach for Jimbo Fisher’s staff. Price had been on staff with the Aggies since 2012.
Price also spent time coaching throughout the SEC as an assistant at Ole Miss (from 1995-98 and 2009-11) and Auburn (1999-2008). Leon O’Neal Jr. — former safety for the Aggies — reacted to the news and said coach Price loved what he did and demonstrated a love for his players.
Coach Price loved what he did it wasn’t just a job to him I watch the love he had for his guys like they were his own son. I don’t think a tweet will ever show the magnitude of his heart and impact he had on everyone. We all was blessed to be of your presence. This 1 hit home ?

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Price, his family and the Aggie community.
