Texas A&M coach Buzz Williams’ first commitment for the class of 2021 is a big one. Ada (Oklahoma) shooting guard Jaxson Robinson pledged to the Aggies on Tuesday.
Listed at 6-5, 175 pounds, Robinson is rated 4-stars, the top player in Oklahoma, No. 4 shooting guard and No. 34 prospect overall nationally in the class on the 247Sports Composite.
Robinson shared the big news on Twitter:
Robinson has 12 other scholarship offers, including Arkansas and Auburn. His pledge comes following a weekend visit to College Station.
Jerry Meyer of 247Sports recently evaluated Robinson:
Good length and strength for a shooting guard. Solid athleticism with body control. Top notch shooter from deep. Has a quick and effortless release. Can score at all three levels. Handles well to get his shot. Adequate passer. Rebounds well. Dangerous offensive rebounder. Projects as a solid wing defender.
