Texas A&M added a transfer commitment from former Boston College cornerback Josh DeBerry Tuesday evening. DeBerry recently attended Texas A&M’s Maroon & White game.
This commitment is a big one for the Aggies. DeBerry has legitimate Power 5 experience, playing in 39 games across his career with 154 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 4 interceptions and 19 pass deflections across 4 years in Boston.
DeBerry was named to the Bednarik Award Watch List prior to last season and earned 2nd-team All-ACC honors for his strong play in 2022.
He made his commitment via Twitter:

Texas A&M is beefing up its secondary in the portal, with DeBerry being its 3rd CB transfer addition of the offseason. He joins former Florida State CB Sam McCall and former UNC CB Tony Grimes in College Station.
And the Aggies will take as much talent as they can get. A&M has lost 26 players to the transfer portal since Jan. 1 alone.
