Texas A&M picked up an Early Signing Day flip for its 2024 recruiting class.

Izaiah Williams, a blue-chip wide receiver from Tampa, had been committed to Florida since May. On Dec. 13, he tweeted a Gators recruiting graphic saying that he would sign with the program in 1 week. On Wednesday, however, he signed to play for Mike Elko’s Aggies.

A Carrollwood Day standout, Williams is listed as measuring 6-feet, 172 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Williams is rated 4-stars, the No. 43 recruit in the state of Florida, No. 54 wide receiver and No. 327 prospect overall in the Class of 2024.

For Florida, Williams’ flip is the latest blow on a rough signing day. The Gators’ class was ranked No. 5 this weekend and now sits at No. 16 on the Composite.

Texas A&M’s 2024 class has undergone a lot of changes with the coaching change, as expected. The Aggies are currently ranked No. 17 on the Composite.
