Buzz Williams’ staff picked up a new commitment for Texas A&M on Saturday.

Brandon White, a center from North Carolina measuring 6-10, 240 pounds, announced his pledge to the Aggies on Saturday.

On the 247Sports composite rankings, White is rated 3-stars, the No. 24 center and No. 173 overall prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. The page lists scholarship offers from 16 other schools, including Houston, Illinois, Maryland, Purdue and Wake Forest.

In 2021, White transferred to Kanye West’s Donda Academy in California. In his time at the Donda Academy, White drew rave reviews as a shot-blocker.

In 2023, Texas A&M basketball has signed 3-star combo guard Bryce Lindsay out of the IMG Academy and added 3-star Illinois-Chicago transfer shooting guard Jace Carter from the portal.
