Texas A&M landed one of its top basketball targets Monday, as Solomon Washington made his pledge to Buzz Williams and the Aggies.

A native of New Orleans who stars at George Washington Carver High School, Washington picked A&M over Alabama, Creighton, Tulane, Louisiana, and others.
Washington, a 6-6, 190-pound small forward, is rated by the 247Sports composite as a 3-star prospect and the No. 158 overall recruit in the 2022 class. He is also rated as the top prospect in Louisianan for 2022.
He becomes the 2nd commitment for Texas A&M in the 2022 class, joining 3-star point guard Amaree Abram.
