Texas A&M still has a bowl game remaining in the 2024 season, but offensive guard Kam Dewberry announced on social media that he will be entering the transfer portal.
“First and foremost, I want to thank God for blessing me with the opportunity to play the sport I love and be part of an incredible organization,” Dewberry posted on X. “From the moment I stepped on campus, it was clear I was part of something special. I want to thank the Texas A&M coaches, the academic and athletic staff, the sports medicine team, my teammates, and everyone who has supported me throughout my time here. Your support has meant the world to me and made these past three years unforgettable.”

Dewberry played for the Aggies from 2022-2024 and was a key contributor to the offensive line. He played in 32 games over the past 3 years, starting 8 games. The majority of those starts came his freshman year when he started 5.
He was a big-time recruit for Texas A&M as a 4-star prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He was the No. 3 interior offensive lineman in the country and the No. 64 overall prospect in the 2022 class.
Many teams across the country have seen a lot of players announce their intentions to hit the transfer portal, but the Aggies have been hit especially hard. Dewberry is now the 14th player to say they are transferring, and Monday is the first day that players can officially enter the portal.
