Texas A&M appears to still be reeling Monday from Saturday’s upset loss to Appalachian State.

The Aggies lost 17-14 at home to the Mountaineers in a result that shocked the college football world.

During A&M’s media access Monday, there were some interesting comments made by some players about what has been going on behind the scenes with the Aggies.

Said senior wide receiver Ainias Smith, “There were times when people weren’t bought in. You could see it in practice, and it showed in the game.”

Smith’s honest and pointed take was backed up by Demani Richardson, who expressed agreement with his teammate’s sentiment.

What remains to be seen is how the Aggies will bounce back from the adversity they appear to be dealing with both on and off the field.

With a huge game on tap Saturday night at home against No. 13 Miami, A&M needs to get on the same page sooner than later.
