The Texas A&M Aggies have a huge showdown at home against Alabama on Saturday, and they may have to play without one of their best offensive players.

Wide receiver Evan Stewart was seen at Kyle Field walking around in a boot, Carter Karels of 247Sports reported. His status for the game is currently unknown, but seeing your star receiver in a boot before game isn’t a good thing.

If Stewart is unable to go against Alabama, it would be a huge blow to the Aggies offense. Through 5 games, Stewart leads the team in catches, yards and is tied for touchdowns. He is a great receiver who has the type of speed that can change a game.

For the Aggies, there is still talent at the receiver position. Guys like Ainas Smith, Jahdae Walker and Noah Thomas are all guys who can make play. Thomas has only 11 catches on the season, but 4 of those have gone for touchdowns.

Running back Le’Veon Moss will also be called upon to help the Aggies move, as they go up against an Alabama defense that is allowing only 13 points per game.

Opening kickoff from College Station is scheduled for 3:30 pm ET, and the game will be shown on CBS.
