Texas A&M reaches scoring feat not seen since 2014
It hasn’t been quite the year Texas A&M Aggies’ fans had hoped for, but the team came out and looked dominant on Saturday. The Aggies defeated the Mississippi State Bulldogs, 51-10, accomplishing a feat that the program hasn’t done since 2014.
With Randy Bond's 45-yard field goal, the Aggies are now over 50 points. This is the first time A&M has scored 50+ points in an SEC game in regulation since Aug. 28, 2014 versus South Carolina (52-28).

The Aggies scored 50+ points for the first time in an SEC regulation game since they scored 52 against South Carolina in 2014.
It was a physical rushing attack for Texas A&M, as the Aggies rushed the ball 45 times for 246 yards and 3 touchdowns. Leading the way for the Aggies was quarterback Jaylen Henderson. Henderson threw for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns, while also rushing the ball 12 times for 60 yards and two more touchdowns. Amari Daniels scored a touchdown while rushing 9 times for 59 yards.
The Aggies defense was also extremely impressive, allowing only 247 total yards of offense to the Bulldogs. It was especially a dominating performance against the pass. Texas A&M allowed only 133 passing yards, and had 5 sacks to along with 3 interceptions.
With the win, Texas A&M moved to 6-4, and more importantly became bowl eligible. The Aggies have 2 games remaining, and they are against Abilene Christian and then at LSU in 2 weeks.
Kickoff next weekend is scheduled for 12 p.m. ET.
