Texas holding a student vote about reinstating rivalry with Texas A&M

It’s been five full seasons since the Texas A&M vs. Texas rivalry has taken place.

The last game was played in 2011 in College Station with Texas winning 27-25.

However, after the 2011 season, the rivalry was stopped, and it’s a damn shame for college football.

However, it appears that new Student Body President Alejandrina Guzman and Vice President Micky Wolf are trying to reinstate the rivalry. In an email sent out to Longhorns students, the new president wants the rivalry to return and is ensuring students have a voice.
