The SEC Softball Tournament is getting underway in Gainesville, Florida Tuesday night with South Carolina and Texas A&M opening the week.

In the first game of the tournament, the 13-seeded Gamecocks are taking on the 12-seeded Aggies. In the 3rd inning, it was Texas A&M that broke open the scoring first.

With the bases loaded and 2 outs, Trinity Cannon bounced a flyball off the wall in left field. Though Cannon just missed a grand slam, she did clear the bases to make it 3-0.

After the Aggies made it 4-0 in the 4th inning, South Carolina responded with a crooked number in the 5th. The Gamecocks pushed 3 runs across to make it a one-run game, punctuated by the third hit of the game for Maddie Gallagher.
