Texas A&M was in need of a big play, and Christian Kirk delivered.
The electric return man took a punt 92 yards to the end zone to help the No. 4 Aggies pull within 28-14 of five-loss Mississippi State at halftime. The momentum-swinging score came with just 19 seconds left in the first half in Starkville and helped Kirk grab a spot in the school record book.

But should the touchdown have counted?
Bulldogs coach Dan Mullen certainly didn’t think so, and he may have a point. Replays showed Texas A&M’s Keith Ford blocking a Mississippi State player in the back, which sprung Kirk’s return.

Mullen threw his visor at officials during a tirade about the no-call, drawing a flag for unsportsmanlike conduct.
