Video: 5-star Texas A&M commit works with QB guru
Texas A&M commit Tate Martell received some special coaching Saturday. The future Aggie was one of three Lone Star State signal-callers to train with renowned “QB guru” Steve Clarkson.
Clarkson, who is best known for his work with Ben Roethlisberger, Matt Leinart, Matt Cassell, Matt Barkley and Jimmy Clausen, worked with Martell along with TCU commit Shawn Robinson and Texas commit Sam Ehlinger. He posted a video of the three quarterbacks taking part in a “chaos drill” that is intended to teach composure in the pocket.

Texas A&M is trying to bring stability and depth back to the quarterback position following the transfers of Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray. Coach Kevin Sumlin recently named graduate transfer Trevor Knight his starter for the 2016 campaign. In February, the Aggies signed pro-style QB Nick Starkel, a three-star prospect.
