Texas A&M picked up a huge recruiting win Saturday afternoon, as it received a commitment from Walter Nolen, one of the top recruits in the 2022 class.

Nolen, a 6-4, 325-pound defensive lineman, picked the Aggies over Alabama, Tennessee, Michigan, and Florida, among others.

He is rated by 247Sports as the No. 1 defensive lineman in the nation and the No. 2 overall prospect.

Nolen, a native of Powell, Tennessee, had taken an official visit to Texas A&M in October and he was scheduled to visit Tennessee next weekend, which it now appears will not happen.
