The gold standard evaluator for offensive linemen in the SEC is former Auburn lineman Cole Cubelic, who now works the sidelines as a broadcaster on the SEC Network.

Cubelic turned in a one-man promotion campaign on Sunday for Layden Robinson, the right guard for Texas A&M, who helped dumptruck the South Carolina defensive front in a 48-3 win over the Gamecocks. Robinson helped the Aggies churn out 45 carries for 264 yards and two touchdowns.

After the game, coach Jimbo Fisher also talked up Robinson.

“Layden Robinson came in and did a really nice job with the ones on a big touchdown drive,” Fisher said, per 247Sports. “Layden Robinson who I think is going to be one heck of a football player, I really do and where he’s going. So I think all those young guys and getting them all on the field. I love our young guys and hopefully we can do a lot more of that.”

Robinson is a 6-foot-4 and 325 pound redshirt freshman from Manvel, Texas.
