Since the College Football Playoff selection committee unveiled its first rankings of the 2020 season, Texas A&M fans – and some media members – have been vocal in arguing that Aggies deserved a Top 4 ranking.

Ahead of the final rankings, Jimbo Fisher and others lobbied for Texas A&M to get a spot in the College Football Playoff. The committee ultimately opted to give the non-Alabama spots to Clemson, Ohio State and Notre Dame and many Aggies fans and players cried foul.

The Aggies instead landed in the Orange Bowl against three-loss North Carolina. Fisher’s squad has its hands full with the No. 13 Tar Heels, leading many on social media to question the Aggies’ complaints of a Playoff snub as A&M leads 17-13 at the break.
