Texas A&M is 2-2, but its two losses have come against a pair of the top teams in the country — No. 1 Alabama and No. 3 Clemson.

Although both of their losses were against quality opponents, that doesn’t mean the Aggies don’t have areas in which they want to improve after their first four games of the season.

On Monday, quarterback Kellen Mond broke down the offense and shared what he thinks Texas A&M needs to do better moving forward.

“I feel like we let a lot of stuff still out on the field [Saturday vs. Alabama], I thought we could’ve executed a little bit better,” Mond told the media. “We had our opportunities, and we just didn’t convert on those, a lot of missed assignments. So just some things that we’ve got to go back and clean up and make sure we’re more prepared and make sure it doesn’t happen again. …

“I always feel confident in the way we move the ball. Just like I said, we have to be a little bit more consistent trying to stay mistake-free, and that will help us get touchdowns in the red zone, instead of just kicking field goals.”

Texas A&M lost to Alabama, 45-23, this past Saturday. The Aggies will try to bounce back when they play Arkansas at AT&T Stadium at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday.
