WATCH: Kellen Mond torches N.C. State with 62-yard TD on second play of game
Well, that didn’t take long.
Texas A&M QB Kellen Mond rushed for a 62-yard TD on the second play of the Gator Bowl against N.C. State. On the first play of the game, Mond completed his first pass for nine yards to Kendrick Rogers. Then, on 2nd-and-1, Mond gave the Aggies the early 7-0 lead over N.C. State.
It was a simple zone-read play, and Mond just outran the entire Wolfpack secondary.
