Saturday was a good day for the Texas A&M Aggies, as they dominated Mississippi State en route to the 51-10 win. The Aggies controlled the game the entire way, as they had more rushing yards (246) than the Bulldogs had total yards (237).

Quarterback Jaylen Henderson put on as show that the Texas A&M fans will be talking about for a while. He threw for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns, while also rushing for another 60 yards and two more touchdowns. While the numbers weren’t extremely high, he showed off potential that should have the fans excited for the future.

After the game, Fisher talked to the media about his team’s offensive performance, Henderson’s performance as well as the status of Max Johnson moving forward.

Johnson, who has been the starter for the majority of the season, suffered a rib injury in the 38-35 loss to Ole Miss last week. On the season, Johnson has thrown for 1,452 yards, 9 touchdowns and only 5 interceptions.

With the performance of Henderson, Texas A&M fans are going to want to see which quarterback is starting when Johnson is healthy. The Aggies will be back in action next weekend when they host Abilene Christian.

Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m. ET.
