Zach Calzada injury update: Texas A&M QB injured vs. Auburn
By Adam Spencer
Published:
Texas A&M is already dealing with an injury to Haynes King, who started the season as QB1 for the Aggies.
Zach Calzada has been the team’s starting QB since Week 3, but he suffered an injury against Auburn on Saturday afternoon at Kyle Field.
As you can see below, Calzada ran the ball on a long second-and-goal play and took a big hit to his left shoulder and his head.
He got back in the huddle, but then he couldn’t control his left arm and had to leave the game:

Calzada was clearly in a lot of pain as trainers worked on him on the field:

Now, the Aggies are really hurting at the quarterback position. We’ll see what the update is on Calzada as this game goes on.
