Recently, New York Giants (and former Ole Miss) QB Eli Manning announced his retirement. Now, he joins his brother Peyton Manning as a former NFL quarterback.

What will the Manning brothers do in retirement? Well, if you were counting on them joining the Monday Night Football booth, don’t get your hopes up.

Peyton was in Lawrence to watch Tennessee play Kansas at the iconic Allen Fieldhouse on Saturday, when ESPN’s Holly Rowe caught up with him. As you can see in the video below, he had a funny reason for not wanting to share a broadcast booth with Eli:

“It’d be so hard to get a word in,” Manning said. “We’re always arguing over who’s gonna say what. I’m not sure the two of us would fit in that booth together, but I look forward to doing some fun things with him in the fall especially that we haven’t had a chance to do in a long time. He’s at peace, so I’m happy about that.”

Hopefully we’ll see plenty more of the Manning brothers moving forward.
