Alvin Kamara’s presence at Saturday’s Orange and White game in Tennessee was a welcome sight for Vols fans. His perspective on coach Josh Heupel’s early impact on the program is something fans were also interested in.

Kamara, who was widely believed to be underused as a Vol, has gone on to NFL stardom, and is one of the few things Vol fans have been proud of in recent seasons. Kamara shared his thoughts on Heupel on the sidelines at Neyland Stadium with Jordan Crammer of WATE 6.

“I’m not even talking football, just from a human to human perspective,” Kamara said. “I think he’s a good guy. I think he has a good grasp on what he wants to do, and not talking about football, seeing what he’s doing out here. I think he has something going as far as the way he wants to run the team. I think they’re receptive to him and they like him. I think they’re responding well to what he wants to do and his tone. So I’m looking forward to the season.”
