Arkansas State lost head coach Blake Anderson to Utah State recently, but it moved quickly to find a new coach.

That coach is former Tennessee head coach Butch Jones, who had been serving as an assistant on Alabama’s staff since 2018.

After the news became official on Saturday, Arkansas State shared a hype video of Jones’ arrival in Jonesboro:

Now, it seems to us that those players weren’t exactly fired up at the end of the video, but hey, Jones has plenty of time to work on his rallying cry.

For now, the Butch Jones era is officially underway at Arkansas State, so we’ll see how he fares in 2021 and beyond.
