Brad Nessler is preparing for the 3:30 p.m. ET CBS game and broadcast this week with Gary Danielson, and he has identified X-factors for each team as Florida travels to Tennessee.

Nessler identified Brenton Cox from Florida, and Jalin Hyatt from Tennessee as players to watch in the SEC East showdown.

For Cox, Nessler recalled how he played well against Utah, and last year against Tennessee.

“He’s gotta put pressure on (Hendon) Hooker if they’re going to have any chance, just to get him off his mark,” Nessler said. “When he gets pressure, then the back end with Trey Dean can clean up a little bit. He had 8 1/2 sacks last year. I think the kind of pressure he can apply to Hooker is a key ingredient.”

Nessler admitted that he would’ve said Cedric Tillman if the wide receiver wasn’t injured.

“Jalin Hyatt had a great game last week, career highs in yards and touchdowns, and the week before that against (Pitt) he had 11 catches,” Nessler said. “He’s their big-play guy right now with Tillman out, he’s going to have to be a key for him. And he’s going to be the favorite target for Hooker no matter if Tillman is back or not.”
