Butch Jones downplays Tennessee's SEC East expectations with new comments

Butch Jones mastered “coach-speak” long ago, but if he’s not careful, Tennessee fans might start to get irritated (especially if Tennessee isn’t playing up to expectations).

Jones believes SEC East is "most complete it has been from top to bottom in a long, long period of time. Anyone is capable of winning it."

Frankly, I’m not sure many SEC fans would agree with Jones’ sentiments about the quality of the SEC East from top to bottom. South Carolina-Vanderbilt didn’t exactly blow the barn doors off on Thursday night, and Missouri looked average at best in a loss to West Virginia early Saturday.

Georgia and Florida should be decent, but aren’t expected to win double digit games this season.
