For the second time in as many home games against mid-major teams, Tennessee survived a scare.

The No. 15 Volunteers held off Ohio 28-19 on Saturday to improve to 3-0 for the first time since 2004 despite some sloppy

play. Butch Jones’ squad committed nine penalties for 94 yards and fumbled five times, though Tennessee managed to recover all of them.
