Jalen Hurd won’t be gone for long.
Tennessee coach Butch Jones told CBS sideline reporter Allie LaForce that the junior running back should return against Alabama next Saturday after not traveling with the team to Texas A&M this weekend.

Jones still hasn’t disclosed what type of injury Hurd sustained against Georgia last Saturday, but LaForce reported he’s “dealing with” more than one. Hurd has 407 yards and two touchdowns on the ground while adding 82 yards and another pair of scores as a receiver.
Alvin Kamara filled in for Hurd against the Aggies, and he currently has 31 rushing yards and 67 receiving yards. The No. 9 Vols trail No. 8 Texas A&M 21-7 with more than two minutes left in the first half.
