Byron Young, Tennessee OLB, details future plans ahead of Orange Bowl
Byron Young will play 1 more game in orange, in the Orange Bowl, before heading to the NFL Draft.
The Tennessee edge rusher announced on Twitter on Thursday that “the job is not finished” and that he looks forward to taking the field “with my brothers” in the Orange Bowl clash with ACC powerhouse Clemson on Dec. 30 in Miami.
Young will then declare for the draft after the game.

“I can’t wait to see Vol Nation in Miami,” added Young on Twitter.
Young was a 1st-team All-SEC selection by the league’s head coaches this season and has been invited to the East-West Shrine Bowl and Senior Bowl, where he would try to increase his NFL Draft stock.
Young led the Volunteers during the regular season with 10 tackles-for-loss, 5 sacks and 14 quarterback hurries. He added 34 tackles and played in all 12 games, helping the Vols rank 2nd in the SEC in rush defense.
Young is the 4th NFL prospect for Tennessee to announce their future plans. Offensive tackle Darnell Wright will also play in the Orange Bowl and then enter the draft.
Meanwhile, wide receivers Cedric Tillman and Jalin Hyatt have opted out of the bowl game to prepare for next spring’s draft.
