Josh Heupel’s Tennessee program has struggled to gain momentum on the recruiting trail when it comes to in-state prospects but that looks to be changing as we march closer to the college football season as one of the state’s top prospects just announced his commitment to the Volunteer program.

Four-star Cameron Miller of Memphis Academy of Health Sciences is a Vol as the Memphis native picked Tennessee. Back in January, Miller announced a top six of Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, Memphis, Oregon and Tennessee.

Miller is currently the second-highest-rated prospect committed to Tennessee in the 2022 recruiting cycle.

The 6-foot-1, 195-pound Miller is currently listed as the No. 52 receiver in the country and the No. 14 overall prospect from the state of Tennessee in the 2022 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Tennessee now holds pledges from 11 total prospects in the 2022 recruiting cycle, with Miller and quarterback Tayven Jackson being the only recruits in the class currently rated as four-star prospects.
